About Us

Who is Sandra?

I'd like to briefly introduce my firm and give you a little background about myself. I graduated with  Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, a minor in Economics, and a minor in Business and Liberal Arts from Queens College in 1998. While attending college, I worked part-time at Deloitte and Touche, one of the big six accounting firms. Upon graduation, I accepted a full-time position and worked as an auditor in the real estate department for 5 years. 

As our family grew, I decided to make a life change to have more of a work/life balance, and I resigned my position at Deloitte and Touche to start my own practice. At first I started with a handful of clients, and as my kids have grown, so has my practice. My clients come predominantly from referrals; I take great pride in this. I am a sole practitioner, and as a result, you will always have my direct attention and will not be handed down to non CPA staffer. I pride myself in giving my clients friendly, personalized accounting services. Unlike big box tax preparation businesses, I am available year round to assist you in any matters that arise. I look forward to working with you.
